About Cleaning Shower Curtains
Do want to find some tips about washing brown shower curtains? Then you have found a very helpful source. I will simply discuss some few methods that you can adopt and use at your own peril. Take some time to read the article right to the end and you will glad you did.
Firstly, I am aware that changing curtains can be a rather daunting task and highly expensive at that. What do you do if the curtain has some mildew and soap scum all over it?
One options is to soak it in the bath with bleach and some water. If you opt for this method you need to be careful especially if you own a colored one like a brown blue shower curtain.
One of the easier ways to clean it is to put it in a washing machine. Whether it’s a plastic or a plastic covered fabric just put it in the washing machine and it will be cleaned. You need to use a normal detergent for this and set the machine to be a non-rinse cycle. An idea would be to put some towels in there as well so their abrasiveness can help in the cleaning process.
Another option is to soak it in some soda crystals. Compared to bleach this is way better especially in terms of eco-friendliness. With this one you get no smell but 100% cleaniliness. Using this method is simple and straight forward, simply add some water in a bath and add the crystals then leave the curtain in there overnight.
If you own a washing machine you can put your red shower curtains in the wash with the soda crystals instead of a normal washing detergent|in the bath and use the soda crystals. One of the people I know even used vinegar instead of a conditioner. I don’t really know how the outcome will be if you use vinegar as I haven’t tried it yet but I am sure it does a good job.
