What Good is Styrofoam Adhesive?

Styrofoam glue doesn’t get the same attention as many other specialty epoxies, probably due in large part because of the lack of common projects involving Styrofoam. That said, this is a quality product that should not be overlooked whenever you need to work on a project involving Styrofoam.

Second, most Styrofoam adhesives are fairly inexpensive. This is always a good thing, but it also means that one small $4 tube of glue can be all you need for several projects. Why risk a sub-standard job when getting the best there is costs so little?

A quality Styrofoam glue has the advantage of not being used often – meaning one tube can last for several different projects, unlike Elmer’s glue or rubber cement. Styrofoam glue is for projects involving Styrofoam, so a little bit can go a long way for many different projects.

There are many different epoxies for Styrofoam, but little discussion on which one is best. 3M and UHU are probably the two biggest companies that specialize in this type of glue, but there are others and all of them should work fine for any major craft or project that you have.
